The Mindfulness Network CIC offers a range of retreats. You can find out about specific retreats by clicking on the relevant link below. These listings will be updated regularly.

Mindfulness meditation retreats provide an opportunity to deepen and develop personal meditation practice over a sustained period of time. The retreats that we offer emphasise the deep understanding and practice of mindfulness meditation in its most universal and secular expression.

We plan to offer a range of retreats that are suitable for people who:

  • are new to mindfulness practice and would like a residential introduction, or for those who are looking for an opportunity to reconnect with practice;

  • have taken a mindfulness-based eight-week course and are interested in developing and deepening their practice; or

  • are mindfulness-based course teachers. Retreats for mindfulness-based teachers provide an opportunity for them to fulfil the UK Network's Good Practice Guidelines to make a commitment to regular attendance on residential, teacher-led, silent meditation retreats.

All our retreats are delivered by retreat leaders who have a broad depth of experience in mindfulness practice, in guiding retreats and who also have MBSR/MBCT teaching experience. Participants will receive excellent support and guidance from highly trained and experienced teachers and meditation instructors.

The forms of practice taught are consistent with mindfulness-based teaching practice and are independent of a specific religious outlook. Retreats include meditation instruction, talks, and guided sessions of mindfulness meditation practice including mindful movement. They provide a safe and nourishing environment for the cultivation of a deep and grounded mindfulness meditation practice.
